Practice Overview

At Lil’ Smiles, our compassionate pediatric dentist provides gentle care for children starting at the age of one year old. When you visit our office, your child's positive experience is our top priority. Our entire team is dedicated to providing your child with the personalized, gentle care that they deserve.

Dr. Toppi specializes in treating kids and their oral health concerns. He takes his role as your child’s first dentist seriously, knowing that he has a big part in helping them understand the value of their smile and the vital function it provides.

New Patient Information

Scheduling Appointments

Your child is seen on an appointment basis, and we reserve time specifically with your child, Dr. Toppi, and our staff. We ask that you complete an online appointment request or call (619) 640-3000 in advance so that we may reserve an appointment time for your child. At this time we will gather basic information and any dental insurance you may have for your child.

If you are a NEW PATIENT to our office, we will be emailing you our e-forms. You will simply read the forms & submit them prior to your child's appointment. If you have an iPad, you may sign the forms at home. Otherwise, you will sign on our iPad when you come in for your child's appointment.

Payment Options

For your convenience, we accept Cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, personal local checks (excluding one visit treatment under IV sedation). Payment is expected at the time services are performed. Feel free to contact our office If your treatment plan requires more comprehensive dental work and you want to discuss financial arrangements.

Our Practice Accepts Care Credit

Care Credit is a unique health care financing company that allows you to make regular payments for your child's dental treatment.

If you do not see your insurance plan listed please feel free to contact our practice as we work with many other insurance plans as well. We take care of all the insurance paperwork for you! Please call our office at (619) 640-3000 to discuss your specific dental insurance benefit plan with one of our knowledgeable staff.
